SINGAPORE, Sept 11 - Singapore Exchange <SGXL.SI> will add planter Golden Agri-Resources <GAGR.SI> and conglomerate Jardine Matheson Holdings <JARD.SI> as component stocks to its benchmark Straits Times index <.FTSTI>, the firm said on Thursday.

They replaced Thai Beverage PCL <TBEV.SI> and Chinese shipbuilder Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings <YAZG.SI>, which were dropped, as part of the Singapore Exchange's first review of the index since it partnered FTSE Group and launched a revamped Straits Times index this January.

The exchange also made changes to its other FTSE ST indices and all these will take effect on Monday, 22 September.
