India's Jan car sales fall 3.2 pct - industry
Published: 08 Feb 2009 21:43:29 PSTNEW DELHI, Feb 9 - Car sales in India fell 3.2 percent in January to 110,212 units from a year earlier, an industry body said on Monday, the sixth drop in seven months with economic uncertainties and tight credit weighing on demand.
Sales of trucks and buses fell an annual 51 percent to 23,157 units, data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers showed.
