HANOI, Sept 26 - Vietnam's Su Tu Vang oilfield is expected to begin commercial production at 10,000 bpd from Oct. 1 and output would be raised to 30,000 bpd in November, an official from Petrovietnam said on Friday.
First oil was last scheduled for this month, company officials had said in July.
"All preparation work has been completed for the field to produce its first oil on Oct. 1 and the oil will be sold as Su Tu Den," the official, who declined to be identified, said, referring to Vietnam's second-largest oilfield.
He said production would be stabilised at 30,000 bpd to 35,000 bpd in December but declined to forecast output in the longer term.
