S.Korea WP seeks 710,000 T coal for Jan-Feb 2010
Published: 16 Nov 2009 22:52:12 PSTSEOUL, Nov 17 - Korea Western Power Co Ltd (WP) is seeking 710,000 tonnes of bituminous coal for power generation for January and February delivery next year via tenders, the utility said on its website (www.westernpower.co.kr) on Tuesday.
The tenders will close by 0600 GMT on Nov. 26. Details are as follows:
TONNES SPECIFICATION SHIPPING 220,000 min 5,350 kcal/kg Jan-Feb 2010 220,000 min 5,350 kcal/kg Jan-Feb 2010 270,000 min 4,600 kcal/kg Jan-Feb 2010
Note: For the first 220,000 tonnes, WP is seeking origins of Australia, U.S., Canada and South Africa only, the company said.
