Manila's Napocor to hold tender for 50,000 T coal
Published: 22 Oct 2009 22:41:02 PSTMANILA, Oct 23 - Top Philippine electricity producer National Power Corp (Napocor) said on Friday it will hold a tender for supply of 50,000 tonnes steam coal on Nov 11.
Napocor is looking for coal with gross calorific value of 5,120-6,640 kcal/kg, the state-run firm said on its Web site (www.napocor.gov.ph)
The fuel, scheduled for delivery between November and January, is meant for Napocor's Naga-Cebu thermal power plant in the central Philippines.
