March 12 - The following table shows China's output figures for crude oil, natural gas and oil products in January 2009.
Figures were calculated from data for February, cumulative figures for the first two months of the year, and data for the same periods in 2008, provided by the National Bureau of Statistics.
China usually does not issue January data for crude and refined oil product output due to a week-long Lunar New Year holiday which falls in either January or February each year.
Percentage changes were based on figures calculated for January 2008. China revises output data, but does not usually say when it has revised previously published figures.
Oil and oil products figures are in tonnes. Natural gas figures are in cubic metres.
