We started our business with only a small amount of capital. We did not have enough money to take part in trade shows or exhibitions around the world. Therefore, our strategy was to use the Internet to advertise our company and find customers. After using the Internet for a while, we finally found Alibaba.com.

At first, we became free members and we received two orders from serious customers after only two months. However, it was not exactly what we were looking for, so we decided to become Premium Memberships at the beginning of 2006. We immediately saw the benefits. We started getting more than 30 inquiries a week instead of only 7 as a free member and we also received a lot of orders.

We generally try to attract potential buyers by displaying products. There are more than 60,000 new trade leads on Alibaba everyday so, in order to help our customers find us easily, we regularly update our Selling Leads and repost our Selling Leads almost every day.

Trade Alert and TradeManager are two fantastic tools which Alibaba provides for us to use. On Trade Alert, we have subscribed to all the keywords related to our business. Trade Alert keeps us updated about any new requirements from buyers, new companies on Alibaba.com and also new competitors and their products.

We are also online with TradeManager 16 hours a day. TradeManager allows us to directly contact potential customers around the world easily.

Sometimes, I read articles in the Resources channel and I find the articles helpful, especially when they are concerned with issues related to my business.

In my opinion, Alibaba.com is the number one trade portal in the world.
