China PVC Market Price (15 Dec 2009)

A buyer was offered Chinese PVC k67-68 (acetylene) FD North China, cash inc VAT at CNY6800-6900/ton ($851-864/ton without VAT including delivery)

A buyer was offered Chinese PVC k67-68 (ethylene) FD North China, cash inc VAT at CNY7000-7200/ton ($876-901/ton without VAT including delivery)

A buyer reported that acetylene based PVC offers remain stable at their high levels while ethylene based PVC offers recorded additional increases of CNY100/ton this week on the back of domestic producers' higher offer levels. He currently operates his plant at 50-60% capacity and has not purchased any materials for this week as of yet. He aims to purchase on his needs basis and prefers not to build up stocks.
