A buyer was offered Malaysian PVC k67-68 CIF Singapore, cash at $870-875/ton

A PVC compounder reported that they received a December offer from a Malaysian supplier with a price increase of $30-40/ton when compared with their most recent purchase price. The buyer said that they are considering accepting this offer but that they prefer to wait to see some other offers before making their final decision. Regarding the upcoming implementation of the ASEAN free trade agreement, the compounder said that they are feeling optimistic as the reduction in duties on their end products will open up new markets to them.
