Asian PVC offers re-emerge in Egypt

In Egypt, Asian PVC offers were absent in the market since the middle of October as Asian sellers had turned their attention to China, where the buying interest had revived. However, this week, some offers re-emerged from the region, including Japanese, Korean and Southeast Asian origins, with $70-120/ton increases. Now, Asian PVC k67-68 offers stand at $890-940/ton on CIF Alexandria, cash equivalent basis.

Asian prices are expected to remain mostly steady in China before the November business is wrapped up next week. Therefore, offers from the region are also anticipated to track mostly a stable trend over the near term in Egypt, too.
On another note, American PVC offers recorded $20-40/ton increases on a week over week basis to $860-900/ton with the same terms while this range is about $20-40/ton above the prices reported in a nearby market Turkey.
