In Egypt, competitive US origins were reported both for HDPE and LLDPE c4 film as of this week. Regular Middle Eastern producers started the month of November with rollovers to up to $100/ton decreases for these products. These regional suppliers are also reported to be offering around $20/ton discounts in return of firm bids. However, more competitive American offers were in the market this week, composing the low end of the ranges for both LLDPE c4 and HDPE film.

In the HDPE film market, American offers lost ground by $20/ton compared to last week and were reported at $1170-1175/ton on CIF Alexandria, subject to 5% customs duty on cash equivalent basis. Meanwhile regular Middle Eastern offers stand at $1235-1265/ton on CIF, cash equivalent basis.

In the LLDPE c4 film market, a competitive American offer emerged at $1170/ton on CIF Alexandria, cash basis and formed the low end of the overall range, which is formed by the Middle Eastern origins at $1225-1245/ton on CIF, cash equivalent basis.
