Lanxess receives China's safety and CSR awards

Specialty chemicals company Lanxess (Wuxi) Chemical Co Ltd has received the 'Safe producing and integrity enterprise in Jiangsu province in 2008' and 'Outstanding Wuxi company in implementing social responsibility' awards in China.  Lanxess was one of only two companies - among 30,000 participating companies - honoured with the 'Safe producing and integrity enterprise in Jiangsu province in 2008' award. The 'Outstanding Wuxi company in implementing social responsibility' rewards those who have made great efforts in achieving the best performance of social responsibility.

Dr Hu Dongqi, general manager, Lanxess (Wuxi) Chemical Co Ltd, commented, "The Wuxi plant serves as an important manufacturing&technology location for Lanxess in China and the Asia Pacific region.
