Saudi Arabia PetroRabigh keeps low operation rates in propylene and PO facility
Published: 19 May 2009 00:10:33 PSTSince mid-April, PetroRabigh began to produce propylene and propylene oxide in Saudi Arabia but kept low running rates.
PetroRagigh kept the capacity of 900,000 tons propylene each year and all of these materials will be applied in polypropylene and propylene oxide. The capacity of PP and PO is 700,000 tons/year and 400,000 tons/year respectively.
However, the products are not commercialized, mainly for being built up inventories.
