TUV Rheinland expands chemical analysis services for REACH

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has proposed the first candidate list of 16 substances of very high concern (SVHC) for the authorisation process. As part of its comprehensive REACH services, TUV Rheinland India (representative of TUV Rheinland) is now offering the chemical analysis services for these 16 substances. It will also help to screen other SVHC for bio-effects and assesses EU Safety Data Sheet.

TUV Rheinland India, with the TUV Rheinland Group network in the EU, will help companies to comply with the regulations and achieve their performance goals. The up-to-date chemical substance measurement service can help companies to conform to other environmental regulations. TUV Rheinland's laboratories can evaluate the presence of formaldehyde, volatile organic compound (VOC), azo dyes, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), phthalates and others.

Besides, it also offers life-cycle management solutions providing information and services covering all processes from production design to recycling. TUV Rheinland has measuring devices that use fluorescence X-ray, which is one way of analysing materials for conformity to the WEEE/RoHS Directive.
