Rockwell launches Factorytalk pharma suite

Rockwell Automation recently introduced a new suite of software applications to help pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers integrate their production processes with the rest of the manufacturing enterprise. FactoryTalk Pharma Suite is the first in a series of industry-specific software applications based on the FactoryTalk integrated production and performance suite.

This platform leverages on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) for cost-effective, flexible, plant-wide integration. Its object-oriented design makes it easier&faster to build and modify applications and then systematically deploy them across multiple sites in a consistent form. This ultimately helps establish best practices for manufacturing operations®ulatory requirements in discrete, hybrid and process industries.
