Revenue in overseas markets and in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau totaled RMB 4.01 billion, surging 29.3% year on year and accounting for 32.3% of the total. In China's mainland market, revenue from East China accounted for 80.9%, while revenue from Central China accounted for 10% and revenue from West China accounted for 9.1%. The proportion of revenue from East China was 1.1 percentage points higher than in the same quarter of 2009, while that of Central China was 0.5 percentage points lower and that of West China was 0.6 percentage points lower. During the period from January to March, around 470 million packages were delivered in China, 24.3% more than in the fourth quarter of 2009. Statistics also show that China's revenue from postal firms and express firms above the designated size were RMB 2.72 billion in the first quarter, up 4.6% year on year.
