Feb. 8, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Country Garden Holdings Co Ltd<2007>, a real estate developer based in Guangzhou and Foshan, Guangdong Province, last week announced that its contracted sales revenue was RMB 2.2 billion in January, an amount 3.53 times that of last January.

Contracted sales area was 370,000 square meters, 3.11 times that of a year ago.

The Hong Kong-listed firm's revenue for January was principally derived from sales in Guangdong Province. Phoenix City, a high-end apartment project located in Zengcheng Distirct, Guangzhou, realized RMB 410 million in contracted sales revenue. The revenue in another project, called Holiday Islands, totaled RMB 330 million.

Shaoguan Country Garden and Shaoguan Country Garden Sun Palace in Yuebei District jointly reaped RMB 260 million in contracted sales revenue in the first month of this year.
 
Reportedly, the property enterprise is in the process of building wireless local area networks in most of its hotels.
