Feb. 8, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Chongqing Longxin Engine Co Ltd last year topped a list of motorcycle firms ranked by export value with a total export value of US$265 million, according to a report released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

Lifan Group ranked second with a total export value of US$243 million, followed by Guangzhou Dayang Motorcycle Co Ltd with US$184 million, Guangzhou Zongshen Motorcycle Industrial Co with US$170 million and Chongqing Yinxiang Motorcycle (Group) Co Ltd with US$159 million.

Ranking sixth was Zengcheng Haili Motorcycle Co Ltd with US$156 million. It was followed by
Jiangmen Dachangjiang Group Co Ltd with US$145 million, Guangzhou Motorcycle Group Co with US$144 million, Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co Ltd with US$141 million and Jincheng Corp with US$122 million.

The total motorcycle export value of these ten firms was US$1.73 billion in 2009 and accounted for 50% of the total.

Chongqing Longxin Engine also topped the motorcycle firms by export volume last year. Its export volume was 630,090 units.
