Feb. 5, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Well-known sports-car producer Porsche yesterday announced that its headquarters in China has officially settled in Pudong New District, Shanghai, sources reported. Located in Lujiazui Software Park, the headquarters building is tailor-made according to Porsche’s requirements for marketing and office work. The first and second floors of the building will be Porsche’s first flagship center in China, and comprise the world’s most advanced one-stop service center as well. Its functions will include sales, repair and after-sale service. The building will be operational in June this year. Reportedly, Porsche’s sales in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, increased 9% year on year in 2009. China has become the auto maker's third-largest market in the world.
