Regal Jinfeng Hotel launches in Shanghai

Nov. 20, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Regal Hotel International Holdings Ltd<0078>, one of the largest hotel operators in Hong Kong, recently launched a four-star hotel in Jinqiao Export Processing Zone, Pudong New District, Shanghai, the China Hospitality News reported.

The new 28-story hotel, called the Regal Jinfeng Hotel, has 380 guest-rooms tailored to customers' needs. It also has a business center and recreational facilities such as a spa and clubs.

Regal Jinfeng Hotel is the third of three hotels operated by Regal Hotel International in Shanghai. The Hong Kong-based hotelier also operates a five-star luxury hotel called the Regal International East Asia Hotel and another called the Regal Shanghai East Asia Hotel, both in Shanghai.

Regal manages five hotels in Hong Kong. It aims to increase its hotel portfolio to more than 20 managed or owned hotels in first- and second-tier mainland cities within the next few years. Its first hotel in Chengdu, a key city in Southwest China, is scheduled to open towards the end of this year.
