Tianjin FAW Xiali Automobile Co., Ltd., China's economical passenger carmaker based at Tianjin, sold 16,080 units last month, up 10 percent year-on-year.
The automaker said in a statement that it produced 17,600 units in October, an increase of 13 percent from a year earlier.
China's auto sales have been spurred by the government's tax cut and subsidy for fuel efficient vehicles since the beginning of this year.
