Nov. 6, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday morning, tracking gains from the previous closing. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened at 3,176.14 points, up 0.67% or 21.08 points from the previous closing.
