Nov. 6, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Guoco Group Ltd<53>, a Hong Kong-based investment holding and management company, raised its stake in Bank of East Asia<0023> to 8.01% from the previous 7.99%, according to statistics released by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. On Oct. 30, Guoco Group bought 300,000 shares in BEA at an average price of HK $ 27.87 apiece, involving investment of approximately HK$83.61 million in total.
