Changan Auto to merge with AVIC Nov. 10

Chana Auto Co. Ltd confirmed November 5 that the company will announce on Nov. 10 its merger with the auto-making operations of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), the parent company of Hafei Auto and Changhe Auto, according to the Beijing Times.
Both companies' auto businesses will be integrated into one, a source working in Chana auto said. A new company will be established, but the company will still be called Chana Automobile (Group) Co., Ltd.
