The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 Chinese mainland state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, swelled 296.1 points to 12,796.74 points. Market heavyweight HSBC Holdings Plc<0005><HBC>, which accounts for the largest weighting for the Hang Seng Index, climbed 0.29% to HK$85.95. New World Mobile Holdings Ltd<0862> surged 33.89% to HK$6.36. AV Concept Holdings Ltd<0595> soared 37.65% to HK$1.17. Theme International Holdings Ltd<0990> surged 19.14% to HK$1.93. Auto firms showed good performances in the morning session. Denway Motors Ltd<0203> rose 3.85% to HK$4.05. Great Wall Motor Co Ltd<2333> swelled 1.85% to HK$8.83. Dongfeng Motor Group Co Ltd<0489> increased 9.71% to HK$10.28. Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Ltd<3808> increased 1.93% to HK$9.49. BYD Co Ltd<1211> swelled 2.03% to HK$73.
