China shares close higher
Published: 03 Nov 2009 01:02:01 PSTChinese shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gaining 37.58 points or 1.22 percent to close at 3,114.23.
The Shenzhen Component Index followed suit with a gain of 144.20 points or 1.13 percent, to close at 12,859.86.
