China exported 30,500 vehicles in September, up 38.98 percent compared with August, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
Only 217,400 vehicles were exported from January to August this year, down 57.17 percent from a year earlier. The total volume of auto imports and exports dropped 24.28 percent year-on-year to $38.744 billion.
Some 78,100 passenger cars were exported during the first eight months, a plunge of 67.05 percent from a year earlier; 143,000 commercial vehicles were exported, a massive drop of 47.28 percent year-on-year.
CAAM said the auto export market is still in a gloomy period.
