China's GDP up 7.7% in Jan-Sep

Oct. 22, 2009 (China Knowledge) - China's gross domestic product grew 7.7% year on year to RMB 21.78 trillion in the first three quarters of this year, according to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics today. The growth in the first three quarters was 0.6 percentage points higher than that in the first half of this year. The country's GDP growth was 6.1% in the first quarter, 7.9% in the second quarter and 8.9% in the third quarter, according to the statistics. Copyright © 2009 www.chinaknowledge.com |
