China will require a security deposit as a temporary anti-dumping policy on imported nylon 6 from the US, European Union, Russia and Taiwan, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) Friday.
The decision follows a preliminary MOC ruling that the aforementioned areas had dumped nylon 6 in the Chinese market and caused significant damage to domestic markets.
Nylon 6 is used to manufacture hosiery, knitted garments, threads, ropes, nets and tie cords.
