Oct. 14, 2009 (China Knowledge) - China International Futures Co Ltd, a leading broker on China futures market also known as CIFCO, is in talks with relevant government agencies and companies on setting up a futures trading center in the central business district in Beijing, said Jiang Xin, CEO of CIFCO, at a forum on Tuesday. The proposed China Futures Exchange Center will be an information and transaction hub for all the four futures exchanges in China, namely Shanghai Futures Exchange, Dalian Commodities Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, and China Financial Futures Exchange. It is also expected that the new center will be a global futures trading center after being connected to the futures exchanges in London, Chicago and New York.
