Oct. 12, 2009 (China Knowledge) - U.S.-based financial holding company JPMorgan Chase & Co recently raised its shareholding in Hon Kwok Land Investment<0160> to 10.52% from the previous 7.94%, according to the bourse operator Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing<0388>. HKEx said that JPMorgan on Oct. 5 bought 12.37 million shares of the Hong Kong-listed firm. However, JPMorgan did not disclose how much it spent on the deal. Hon Kwok Land, a Hong Kong-based investment holding company, is mainly engaged in property development, property investment and property-related activities mainly in Hong Kong, mainland China, Malaysia and Canada.
