Sep. 22, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Cheah Co Ltd, which is controlled by Cheah Cheng Hye, the co-founder of Value Partners Ltd, recently raised stake in ZTE Corp<000063><0763> to 5.16% from the previous 4.99%, according to the bourse operator Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing<0388>. Information from HKEx showed that Cheah on Sept. 16 bought 510,600 H shares of ZTE for HK$20.77 million. The average share price of the transaction was HK$40.69 apiece.
