Sep. 18, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Kerry Properties<0683>, a property and logistics company with investments throughout Asia, on Sep. 14 opened several decorated units in a high-end apartment project in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, sources reported. The exhibition of the sample units aims to promote sales of the apartment project, which has opened four times since the first units sold in December 2008. A salesman for the project said that since July, Kerry Properties has sold 95% of the 600 apartments in the project's northern area, and that the remaining apartments are mostly in Block Four. Each has a floor area of about 130 square meters. The southern units of the project will go up for sale at the end of next year, the salesman added. The project, which is located in northern area of Hangzhou, will have a floor area of 320,000 sq m, 250,000 sq m of which will be aboveground. The entire project will comprise more than 2,000 apartments in 20 blocks, each block having between 12 stories and 17 stories. Each apartment will have a floor area between 90 sq m and 130 sq m.
