Sep. 16, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Lenovo Group Ltd<0992><LNVGY>, the world's fourth-largest PC manufacturer, has cut its shareholding in Kingsoft Corp Ltd<3888> to 4.81% from 5.39% on Sept. 8, according to the bourse operator Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing<0388>. Lenovo sold 6.31 million shares of Kingsoft for HK$56.73 million. The average price of the share transaction was HK$8.99 apiece. Lenovo has been reducing its stake in the Chinese software company since July. Statistics from the Hong Kong bourse showed that Lenovo sold about 1.58 million shares of Kingsoft on Jul. 22 and another 2.63 million on Aug. 27.
