Aug. 12, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened lower on Wednesday morning, tracking overnight losses on Wall Street. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened at 3,255.99 points, down 0.27% or 8.74 points from the previous closing.
