Chinese company starts 1st production of new energy car batteries

Hunan Copower EV Battery Co., Ltd. began the first Chinese production line of automatic battery pack for new energy vehicles on August 5.

Established last August, Hunan Copower EV Battery is a joint venture company invested by Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd. and GP Science Technology (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. Corun is Hunan Copower’s controlling company.

Setting high goals, Copower is engagedin researching, manufacturing and selling automotive battery modules, unlike other companies which only produce batteries.

Zhong Faping, chairman of the board of Corun, revealed that in the upcoming five years, Copower will commit itself to offering excellent products and services for leading electric vehicle customers worldwide and resolves to be one of the most professional manufacturers of automotive battery packs in the world. The company is also determined to be a top enterprise in the field of green energy.
