Founder Technology's PCB project starts operation in Chongqing
Published: 07 Jun 2009 23:41:33 PSTJun. 8, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Founder Technology Group Corp<600601>, China's second largest personal computer maker, announced that the first phase of its printed circuit board (PCB) project has gone into operation in Xiyong Micro-electronic Park in Chongqing City, sources reported. Fang Zhonghua, chairman of Founder Technology, said the first phase of the project is capable of producing 150,000 square feet per month, and the company will increase its investment in the new production facility, which is expected to boost its monthly capacity to 500,000 square feet at the beginning of 2011. The project, when becomes fully operational, will generate over RMB 1.5 billion in sales revenue, said Fang, adding that it will help improve the company's R&D capability and consolidate its leading role in the PCB industry. Founder Technology has also a PCB production facility in Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province.
