Starwood to open Sheraton hotel in Jinan

Sheraton Jinan Hotel, to be located in Lixia District of the city, will start operation in September 2009. The hotel is also part of a mixed-use commercial property with office buildings and retail shops. Sheraton Jinan Hotel has 445 rooms and suites, a meeting space of 4,300 square meters, four food and beverage outlets along with other leisure and entertaining facilities. The new hotel is in line with Starwood's expansion plan in mainland China, following its new hotels in Beijing and Guangzhou. Starwood entered China in 1985 by opening the Great Wall Beijing Sheraton Hotel. Last year, Starwood opened its 100th hotel in the Greater China region when it signed the agreement to launch the Sheraton Beijing Dongcheng Hotel. Copyright © 2009 www.chinaknowledge.com |
