May 4, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Greenland Group, a leading real estate developer based in Shanghai, China, has agreed to invest RMB 4.5 billion in a large property project in Binghu New Area, a district of Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, sources reported. The project, which comprises four pieces of undeveloped land and covers a land area of 721 Mu, will contain residential and commercial buildings and five-star hotels with total floor area of up to 1.3 million square meters. Reportedly, Greenland Group has obtained RMB 12 billion and RMB 5.4 billion in credit from Bank of China<601988><3988> and Agricultural Bank of China, respectively.
