Chalco posts net loss of RMB 1.89 bln in Q1
Published: 03 May 2009 21:28:13 PSTMay. 4, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (Chalco)<601600><2600><ACH>, the nation's largest aluminum producer and the world's third largest alumina producer, today announced that its net loss in the first quarter of 2009, though less than its loss in the previous quarter, reached RMB 1.89 billion. Loss per share was RMB 0.1397, according to the company's quarterly report released on Thursday.During the period, the company's total revenue reached RMB 13.94 billion, 24.37% less than one year earlier.
