Apr. 8, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Peugeot SA, the second-largest carmaker in Europe, will unveil its RC Hybrid4 concept car at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2009, sources reported. According to the automaker, the RC HYbrid4 is an accessible and versatile car. It has four doors, four seats and four-wheel drive, coupled with a highly innovative electric/ petrol hybrid architecture (HYmotion4 technology). The concept car is equipped with 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, same as what is used in the Peugeot 207 RC and MINI Cooper. Peugeot did not reveal any plan to put the concept car into production. The RC HYbrid4 made its debut at the Paris auto show last October. Over 1,500 carmakers and spare parts manufacturers from 25 countries and regions will participate the Shanghai auto show, which will be held from Apr. 20 to Apr. 28 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong New Area.
