![]() Mar. 27, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW), the world's largest premium car maker, will unveil its two latest models at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2009 in April, the Beijing Times reported on Thursday. However, BMW China did not reveal any details about the debut, according to the report. The company also said that four more car models will make their Asia debuts at the show, including BMW 5-series Gran Turismo concept, MINI Crossover, MINI E and a confidential model. In addition, the BMW 7-series Active Hybrid will make its China debut and will be massively produced in the country this year. In January, BMW said that it sold 65,822 units in China last year, up 28% from 51,588 units in 2007. It sold 35,163 BMW 3 Series and 5 Series cars made in mainland China, up 27% from the previous year. The sales of Mini brands rose 43% year on year to 3,134 units.
