Output of Fujian Above-Scale Machinery Industry Increased Over 20% in 2008

According to the Fujian Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, total output value of above-scale machinery industry in the province in 2008 totaled 259.241 billion yuan, up by 21.9%; industrial sales output value reached 250.53 billion yuan, an increase of 23.6%; production and marketing rate reached 96.6%, 1.2 percentage points lower than the previous year; actual export delivery value totaled 73.377 billion yuan, an increase of 17.9%, and export rate reached 29.3%.

Among yields of main machinery products, total ships reached 457,300 tons, an increase of 59.6%; numbers of loader reached 43000 sets, an increase of 8.6%; numbers of automobiles reached 109,900 sets, down by 19.6%.
