Nov. 27, 2008 (China Knowledge) - White Rabbit Candy, the most popular milk candy in China, has come back for sale in 95% of its usual outlets before the contamination scandal, and will export overseas next year, citing its manufacturer yesterday, China Daily reported. Exports of the candy are expected to resume in March or April, with higher quality and a brand-new look, said Weng Mao, general manager of Guan Sheng Yuan Food, the manufacturer of the candy. The Shanghai-headquartered company was involved in the melamine contamination scandal earlier this year, which made Guan Sheng Yuan halted exports in September.
