Sino Land-led consortium wins nod for project in HK

Nov. 25, 2008 (China Knowledge) - A consortium led by Hong Kong-listed real estate developer Sino Land Co Ltd<83> has secured approval from the Buildings Department to develop a project consisting of six 32-to 33-storey residential-retail buildings in Yau Ma Tei in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post reported on Tuesday.

The project is expected to offer 563,907 square feet of residential area and 86,722 square feet of commercial space, according to the property developer.

Meanwhile, another site at Broadcast Drive in Kowloon has also been approved to build five 10-storey residential buildings with a total gross floor area of 194,968 square feet.

Shares of Sino Land rose 2.78% to HK$5.18 at 11:22 am on Tuesday.
