Nov. 25, 2008 (China Knowledge) - The average property rental price in the 11 districts in Beijing fell 2-3.5% in October, the first decline since the beginning of this year, sources reported, citing statistics released by Home Link Real Estate Consultant Co Ltd. Certain areas in this city, such as Wangjing and Shangdi suffered even greater loss in property rental market, according to sources. The average rental price for apartments with one, two, and three bedrooms fell to RMB 1,917, RMB 2,320 and RMB 2,922, down 1.2%, 2% and 3.5% respectively year on year. In addition, the total number of property rental deals also went down 5.05-15% during the month.
