Nov. 6, 2008 (China Knowledge) - China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co Ltd (Sinotruk)<000951>, the largest heavy truck manufacturer in China, signed an agreement on Thursday with Ireland's Timoney Technology Co Ltd on further cooperation, sources reported. The agreement was inked by Ma Chunji, chairman of the board of Sinotruk, and Shane O'Neal, CEO of Ireland's Timoney Technology Co Ltd, at the Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) held in Beijing. Under the terms of the agreement, the two sides will deepen their cooperation, especially in the field of automotive suspension systems in a bid to enhance the Chinese company's technological level and competitiveness, said Sinotruk. Specializing in R&D and manufacturing of motor vehicle independent suspension system, Timoney Technology Co Ltd started to cooperate with Sinotruk since April 2007, and has set up in China a manufacturing base for independent suspension systems suitable for the vehicles produced by Sinotruk.
