Aug. 10, 2010 (China Knowledge) - China Quanjude (Group) Co Ltd<002186> on Aug. 5 posted RMB 52.26 million-net profit for the first half of this year, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 23.78%, sources reported.
The Shenzhen-listed firm, a Beijing-based restaurant operator highly reputed for its roasted ducks, saw its operating revenue soar 13.86% or RMB 74.52 million to RMB 612 million, and its earnings per share were RMB 0.369.
The company, which opened one chain store in Wangjing District, Beijing in the first half, had more than 50 restaurants in China and five overseas units as of Jun. 30.
In addition, China Quanjude and the Beijing Tourism Administration on Aug. 4 set up 16 tourist information points in Beijing to jointly expand the city's tourist catering market.
