Sporting goods firm Nike introduced its new 'shrink wrap' football uniforms at the 109th meeting of the US Army vs Navy teams. The new uniforms, called "Enforcer" were developed as the next evolution of Nike's shrink wrap uniform. According to Nike, the uniforms are designed lightweight, breathable and more form-fitting, enabling superior field performance. Also, the uniform are said to have better moisture management and less grab points.
Incorporating inspiration from two of the nation's military units in its design, the Army helmet and pant have a digital print camouflage pattern, and "Duty, Honor, Country" is displayed on the back of each player's jersey along with their uniform number. The name "West Point" is along the right side with the Nike Swoosh design trademark; Army's slogan, "Boots on the Ground," is displayed on the left side of the pants.
Navy players wear their traditional sun gold helmet and their jersey has the US Marines globe and anchor logo. Also, included in the jersey are the shoulder boards, Navy with Gold trim, which depict the wings of the Blue Angel plane.
Each player also wears a unit patch representing different units of both the Army and the Navy from around the world.
