Incorporated in 2009, King International manufactures and exports stainless steel utensils. With in-house production facilities and a team of qualified designers and skilled workers, we specialize in products with long lasting appeal and function. After completing my masters in 2010, I entered the family business. It took me a good year to understand the business, from the manufacturing process to the sales department.

I wanted to take the business in a new direction and start exporting. After doing some research, I found Alibaba. At first, I thought it was expensive, but I decided to invest in the platform. Since then, I have not looked back because my business has grown exponentially and I have gained experience selling my products internationally.

I found the RFQ system was the most convenient for me and got my first big order from a company in the USA. Since then, I have a dedicated team handling orders through Alibaba.

When I entered e-commerce, I did not know how to reach customers internationally. I had listed my products on Alibaba, but I found it more convenient to use the RFQ system because I understood it better.

I later invested in upgrading to the Gold Supplier status. This was a good decision because within 3 months I got my investment back and my business was on track. Today we have more than 20,000 products on Alibaba to choose from. This is all thanks to Alibaba as we have been encouraged to list new products to increase the range of our business.

Currently, we have two factories in Delhi and a showroom to display our products to overseas buyers, and the credit must go to Alibaba.

We have a dedicated employee that works on the Alibaba platform all day. They respond to inquiries as this is the only way to get business. The more enthusiastic you are with incoming inquiries, the better your chance of getting business.

Some people just register with Alibaba and say they do not get good business leads. However, it requires prompt and helpful responses to inquiries to get good business leads. Being successful requires you to follow the process laid out by Alibaba. If you do this, you can be a winner too!
